Born in 1974
1999: Graduated from the Master's course at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Kobe University
1999: Started working at an IT systems company
In 2008, he returned to his family's kimono shop and continues to work there to this day.


I want to spread the word about kimonos again. As the store manager, I hope that as many people as possible will learn about the beauty and joy of kimonos.
We hope to contribute to the revitalization of the kimono industry and tourism in Kyoto, and to fulfill our role as a local Kyoto kimono store, not just a discount store.

1932 The founder, Yuichiro Hirose, established the company by taking over from a Nishijin textile wholesaler.
1979 Hirose Limited Company was established with Shigeo Hirose as the representative director.
2010 Miyakomon Kimono Rental opens on Rakuten Market
